This photo is for those of you who wondered what was around the turn in the trail on Late September. This was a photo which I liked, but I didn’t think the color was so great and the black and white was pretty boring. However, due to “winter photographic blues” I found it again browsing around some of my older shots. Using Photoshop I applied a warming filter of sorts which really did the trick as far as colors went. It did the trick, well at least I think so. A little bit of a curves adjustment was also applied.

Indian River Trail, Sitka, Alaska.

was the ray of light added? it's really lovely. kinda makes me feel like fairies prance around and unicorns graze there. really beautiful

Thanks. No, the light "rays" weren't added. A little bit of mist in an otherwise clear afternoon make for some great lighting.

oh, that's funky! in singapore we never have mist. :( never ever. no fog, no storms, no snow, no autum, no spring, no nothing. the weather here is very VERY stagnant. that sucks.
